Trumpeter Jeff Bordes returns to the Firehouse Arts Center to pay tribute to the “father of jazz”, Louis Armstrong.   Jeff Bordes & The Burnt Ends featuring vocalist Meredith McHenry will be joined by special guests Lorin Rowan (from The Rowan Brothers) and San Francisco’s “speakeasy jazz” duo, Tumbledown House.  You’ll hear their take on classics such as “Mack the Knife,” “When the Saints” and “What a Wonderful World” along with other lesser-known Satchmo works.  Join us for a night of swing and swamp-jazz.
